Emergency Response & Hospital Transfers
Emergency journey
- 1
A resident deteriorates and an emergency is declared.
- 2
Ambulance is called; responders arrive without a Regis account.
- 3
Resident identity is confirmed at the point of care.
- 4
Emergency purpose is asserted and recorded.
- 5
CareBand releases the emergency attribute set: allergies, medications, diagnoses, mobility, emergency contacts and advance care directive.
- 6
Non-essential attributes such as billing and full notes remain suppressed.
- 7
Access expires automatically when the transfer concludes.
- 8
The entire disclosure event is recorded for later review.
- 9
On return from hospital, discharge context is matched back to the resident record.
